Found it!!!

Under set up there's a tab for displays. I exchanged coordinates for water temp and am good to go.

Figured I'd update this thread for anyone who's had the same question.

Can't remove coordinates from the screen

I went into the menu tab and have it set to "hidden" for the coordinates but they're still displayed. When I'm running my Humminbird I dont want the coordinates displayed at all. Am I missing something? If I have it set to "hidden" they shouldn't be displayed correct? Before I upgraded to the new so...

That was it Greg!!! Thank you so very much.

It was off so I turned it on and left it on "High 3." I"m not exactly sure of the difference between High, high 1 2 or 3 so just went with the 3. I'm assuming the 3 is the highest so went with that.

Thanks again Greg, always so very helpful.

Darn interferance!!!!

This is my second year with my 997 and I couldnt be happier. Last year everything went smoothly and was hoping for the same this year. Unfortunately I put the boat in today and there is terrible interference. I have a Garmin CP, Furuno FF and the 997. When I shut the Furuno off all the interfernce g...

Lines as in interferance from another unit? Is it constant or does it come and go??

I occasionally have the same problem and it's interferance from another unit. I'm wondering if you're having the same issue.

Re: Platinum limitations

Only lakes that have been surveyed fo Hi definition will show up in the 3d platinum type format. All the other lakes will be in 2D. That's what many people find out after it's too late. You can look at the hot maps premium list and check which lakes will be in 3D. just make sure you use the same ye...

Enabling Navionics chip???

I've had my 997c SI for a couple of months and LOVE the SI. Problem is that I'm not too impressed with the chartplotter on it. I inserted my Navionics Platinum+ chip and dont see any difference. Is there an option to enable the chip or does it automatically work qwhen inserted? I know it's in the co...

Zooming in

I know there's ability to zoom in and take snapshots. Problem is, I cant find it on my unit. I went over a wreck yesterday and I wanted to zoom in and take some good pics. I read through my manual but couldnt find where to zoom in. Here's a pic of the wreck. I'll post some pics of it zoomed in when ...
