Error

Hey Greg, I removed the sd card and still received the error "no new nav data found", so I removed the hot maps premium msd/prem and the error went away. Do I have a bad hot maps card?

I give up

I've tried everything including buying a new trolling motor. I purchased a new skeeter 20I with lowrance electronic's and trade them for humminbird because they are much easier to use and they worked great on my old boat (boy did I screwup). Purchased the new humminbird units in March and two months...

XM Weather

I'v had XM Weather for three years and it works great as long as you are looking at the gps screen, it does not sound a alarm. A warning message appears on the screen. It also does not give a forecast.

All that said It has saved me and my partner several times from big storms?

PC11

Ok, I installed the pc11 cable direct to the starting battery with a online 3amp fuse. I tested this week and now the HB works fine except in shallow water when the trolling motor is running.

Any suggestions?

788 CI HD

Greg, I called HB today and explained the issue and they said that the tranducers (xnt 9 di t) that came with the unit does not have a shielded cable and should be replaced with tranducer xtm 9 si 180 t. Does this sound correct? Is the replacement side imaging and not down imaging?

Thanks

Map Detail

I was BPS today checking out the new units and noticed that the map detail is much better then on my 797 and 798si. It showed the contour in color and look great and easy to read for a one eyed fisherman. Is this a software upgrade, a setting on my unit or map source? As Always Thanks for your help....

I installed the XNT-9-20-T in the inside of my hull and have SI located on the rear of my Skeeter boat, both are connected via the switch and to my 798 at the dash. Two questions: 1> Do I have to change the transducer settings ever time I switch transducers? 2> What do I need to connect my 797 at th...
