Hey TCBum
Any luck figuring out that 1.6 reading. I have the same exact issue after gluing down the XP puck transducer. What a bummer. I checked it before I glued it and also installed a lowrance puck about 6 inches away when I first got the boat and that worked fine? Now we are stuck with a $60 dollar hull ornament and cable to sell on ebay :(

If the transducer tested fine before you epoxied it in place but does not afterwards – this typically is an installation problem.
