side scan prop wash

anyone have this problem, when i turn to go back over a school of fish the side scan looks like a smear of prop wash . it worked fine until i sent it back to hb for another problem now by the time i go back to look for the school its so smeared up i cant see them then by the time the screen clears up its to late

Yep, happens to me and my buddy with his 998, too. Just the way it is, AFAIK.

There is no "problem", the unit is sensitive enough to display aerated water from the prop. That is a GOOD thing.
