I have heard a whisper that v4.11 is on the go for the 797, still being tested, not availble to the public yet. Anyone else heard of this?

Any ideas when it's going to be released?

900 & 700 series will be awhile…

Humminbird Quality and Engineering decided to re-test another rev level.

It’s hard to put a date on it.

Is there any updates for my 957c? Can I set it up to run Lakemaster Chips?

Earlier versions of 788CI HD DI files

Post by boxx » Mon Nov 19, 2012 2:41 am

anyone can tell me, where can I download the previous version to the current one for 788CI HD DI?
I have many problems with the current version and the previous one, and so I want to downgrade to a version earlier than these two, had no problem with that.

Since I updated the firmware twice, I can't take pictures of the screen, hummviewer does not read the recordings, GPS does not correctly record the position so that google earth runs to other countries.
I curse the moment in which I upgraded the firmware of my 788CI

You can try checking the SideImagingSoft web site for the 788ci HD DI software updates. Not sure if they have them though. You can send me a direct e-mail (not a pm) asking for a specific software version and I can get it back to you.

The current software version is 6.500, before that was the 6.420 version and before that the 6.250 version. Make sure that your unit was built with the software version you are going to load or one older than that. Some of the changes in software can be due to new replacement electrical components and loading an older version than what the unit was originally built with could cause it not to work.
