I have been on just about every forum to find a way to mount the 360 where I could remove it easily if needed. There is a wealth of knowledge out here so I thought I would add my solution to the bow mount 360. I took an old evinrude trolling motor mount, rebuilt it. It was the smallest flip down locking mount I could find and it had a sleeve that was 1.5" so a sheet of cork cut to size worked well to take up the gap.
Thanks for all the posts. I also found the fix for the 360 not being recognized by the onix. Older 360 will not update on new onix with 2.30.
If you backdate your software on the onix to the 2.0 with the 360 powered on ....you will find that that the onix only updates the 360 software and does not backdate your onix. I spent several days, rebooting, rewiring.......after much frustration I tried backdating the onix. It worked perfectly. The onix now recognizes the 360, the 360 software is up to date and the onix software is 2.30. Everything is working great for now.
