Internal GPS work with 360?

Post by wigoutlet » Mon Aug 10, 2015 2:32 pm

I have a 798ci SI HD unit with Internal GPS. Does the GPS unit that comes with the 360 need to be installed?

The purpose of the AS GPS HS antenna is to create waypoints on the 360 view.

It's your choice to use that antenna or not.

A side benefit of the HS antenna is the position curser will not turn into the "O" when going less than .6 mph. It shows what direction the bow is pointed. Great feature for positioning on offshore waypoints.

Get unparalleled GPS technology out of the box. Many Humminbird fishfinders have our powerful Precision GPS/WAAS receiver built right in and provides fast position fixes accurate within 2.5 meters. For those models without it, there are several options.
